CNS6 Television is founded by Mr C. N. sharma, who is the Managing Director.In the late 1980’s and early 1990’s, Sharma tried to have local material broadcasted on the then existing GTV 10, WRHM 7 & VCT 28 but he was shunned because according to their perception his material was not up to what being broadcasted via satellite. Sharma on the 7th June 1992 started his broadcast on CNS TV CH:12 and a diet of mainly Indian (Bollywood) Movies and local programs were fed to the viewers, as the demand became greater Sharma expanded his out fit but faced stern competition from the Cinema owners and rival television stations, he persisted. In the late 1990’s the National Frequency Management Unit (NFMU) forced the station to change their transmission signal moving from Ch:12 to Ch:6. Today some 15 years later Ch: 6 is still the preferred station of the masses who wanting to see Bollywood or Hollywood Movies knows that they get what they want. The station also broadcast varied programmes from talk shows, musical, educational, religious and a wide variety of must see television programmes. HERE
